Enrollment

Interested families will need to schedule an in person visit to meet me, see the space and ask any questions they may have. Following the visit, if we feel that The Learning Den is a good fit for your family and child, then an application can be submitted.

I will then provide all enrollment forms and any health care forms and plans needed. Typically a child will start their enrollment at the beginning of the academic year in mid-August, but there are times a child can start mid-year when space is available – given they are at least 3 years of age, meet all other enrollment requirements and are developmentally ready for the program. Important Information to Know Prior to Enrollment:

• Immunizations are required to enroll at The Learning Den; a current and up-to-date COLORADO CERTIFICATE OF
IMMUNIZATION is required for enrollment.

• The Learning Den is licensed, in-home preschool program on a separate level from living space with it's own entrance

• The program is a 4 day, 4 hour, half-day, morning preschool program (Monday-Thursday)

• All children must be at least 3 years in age by enrollment start date, program is designed for the 1-2 years before kindergarten

• The Learning Den is a UPK Provider, please contact me for more information on UPK enrollment or visit upk.colorado.gov

• The Learning Den home DOES have pets, they are on a separate floor from the preschool classroom

• All children will need to bring their own lunches from home, refrigerator and microwave available

• Breakfast is not provided, but children may finish eating during the morning drop-off time if need be

• I will provide a morning snack, or snacks from home are always welcome if your child prefers their own

• Parents will be notified when certain foods are prohibited from the Learning Den (ie- no nut zone)

• The Learning Den can not offer drop-in care as I am licensed for a specific number of enrolled children

• All children must be fully potty trained by their enrollment start date

• The Learning Den reserves the right to deny/delay enrollment,

including a child being deemed not developmentally ready for the program
