Enrollment

Interested families will need to fill out an application, then a personal visit with parent and child will be set up. Following this visit, if we feel that my home is a good fit for your family, I will provide all enrollment forms and any health care forms and plans needed. Typically a child will start their enrollment at the beginning of the academic year in August, but there are times a child can start mid-year when space is available. There is a one time, non-refundable registration fee of $50 per student. Program space is limited and this will hold a space for your child. After the registration form is submitted, you will be notified with confirmation of your child’s enrollment. 

Important Information to Know Prior to Enrollment:

• The Learning Den is licensed, in-home child care preschool program

• All children must be 3 years in age

• The Learning Den DOES have pets, and they may interact with the children (friendly pets)

• All children will need to bring their own lunches from home, refrigerator and microwave available 

• Breakfast is not provided, but children may finish eating during the morning drop-off time if need be

• I will provide a morning snack, or snacks from home are always welcome if your child prefers their own

• Parents will be notified when certain foods are prohibited from the Learning Den (ie- no nut zone)

• The Learning Den can not offer drop-in care as I am licensed for a specific number of enrolled children

• Immunizations are required to enroll at The Learning Den

• Facial coverings/masks are currently required as per Jefferson County Health Dept. recommendations
